I’m a Gun is a powerful, community led documentary inspired by the book I’m a Gun. Through compelling visuals and honest testimony, it confronts the reality of street violence and examines the psychological and physiological grip that gun culture can have on young people.
Featuring outspoken and inspirational voices from within the community, the film offers insight into how firearms find their way onto our streets, the forces that sustain their presence, and the systemic traps that have ensnared many of our youth. Rather than simply highlighting the crisis, I’m a Gun provides real solutions and a path forward for change, encouraging dialogue, accountability, and collective action to break the cycle of violence.
